Experience Change with Wild Mind Counseling
We are glad you are here.
The Practice
Welcome to Wild Mind Counseling
At Wild Mind Counseling, we believe your mind is not something to tame—it is something to embrace. Sometimes, it is about finding ways to navigate the world without losing those creative, complex, and maybe even chaotic parts of yourself. Other times, it is about growth and transformation to help you thrive. We focus on the duality of these two concepts—acceptance and change—allowing you to honor your wild mind while building a life that comfortably fits around it.

Let’s explore, embrace, and evolve—together.
Acknowledgment of Indigenous Lands

Wild Mind Counseling respectfully acknowledges that our practice is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Duwamish People, the first people of Seattle. We honor the Duwamish Tribe—past, present, and future—and express gratitude for their enduring stewardship of this land and its waters.
As a mental health practice, we recognize the profound impact of historical trauma on Indigenous communities, as well as the unique healing traditions and knowledge systems that have sustained these communities for generations. We are committed to fostering understanding and respect for the lived experiences and cultural heritage of the Duwamish and all Indigenous Peoples.
Seattle has long been a gathering place for Indigenous peoples, and today it remains home to a diverse and vibrant community. At Wild Mind Counseling, we strive to honor the connections between the past, present, and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous peoples and the broader Seattle community.
We encourage you to learn more about the Indigenous lands where you live and work by visiting Native Land Digital. You can also support the Duwamish Tribe and urban Indigenous communities through these resources:

• Seattle University Indigenous Peoples Institute
Let us all work together to honor and support Indigenous communities while fostering a deeper connection to the land we share.
